What is probiotics?
According to the definition of Probiotics by the Food Agency of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), probiotics are “Live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host.”(FAO/WHO, 2001)
In human intestines, there are more than 100 trillion bacteria, including good bacteria and bad bacteria.
